CLEANING & CARE
Congratulatio ns on choosing your new laminate floor. This flo o r is virtually
maintenance free . Because we impregnate our surface with melamine, it is resistant
to dirt and dust. No rmal sweeping will usually kee p your floor clean. If stu bbor n
spots still remain, use a lam inate floor c lean er.

Never leave any amount of liq uid (water, ju i ce, so ft drink , alco hol , etc.) on t he
floo r for more t han th e time necessary to clean the spill. Immedia tely wipe up
wet areas from spills, foreig n substa nces or wet shoes.
Do not use any clea ni ng a gents containin g wax, o il or polis h. Left over residue
fro m these agents can leave a dull film on t h e floo r.
Do no t use steel wool or sco uring powder, as this could scratch the floor.
Use either a natur al or color-fast do ormat outside and in side each entrance t o
your home to prevent dirt , sand, gr it and other subst ances from being tr acked
ont o the floor.
Use wide- bearing, no n-staining floor protectors such as fe lt protectors, for
chair legs and table le gs.
Cleaning stai ns a nd ot her problems
Juice, w i ne , grease, c hocolate: dampen a r ag with water an d a laminate f loor
cleaner and spot clean.
Cigarette burn s, as p halt, shoe po l ish , pa int, ink, c rayon, drie d fo o ds, nail
po lish: dampen a rag with ru bbing a lcohol or nail polis h remover and spo t
clean.
Candle w ax, c hewing gum: allo w to harden an d gent ly scra pe with a plasti c
scraper.
CAUT I O N-u si n g too mu c h water or any other liquid cleaning solu tio n coul d result in
the pl a n ks swelling, crea t i n g permanent damage to your floo r . This w ould NOT be
covered by Manufacturer s warranty.
ADD I T I ONAL INFORMATI ON ABOUT YOUR LAMI N A T E FLOORING
1. The flooring must be insta lled in accordanc e with Manufa cture r ’s insta llation
instructions. Flooring in bat hro om applic atio ns m ust be insta lled using pro per
techniques. The Warranty does not apply if the laminat e floo ri ng has not been
cleaned, maint a ine d or cared for acco rdi ng to the cleaning an d ca re
instructions provided by Manufacturer.
2. Manufacturer warrant s its produ cts aga inst manufac turing defects that exist in
it s pro duct s prior to pro duct insta lla tio n. Floorin g installed with kno wn
defects is not covered un der the War ranty. Inst al ler must i nspect all pla nks fo r
po ssible, rec o g ni zab le defe cts before an d during the installat ion as any right
